What we collect
Emails you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address, name and the content of your message. We use this only to reply and to keep a record of correspondence.
The contact page tool. The message preparation tool runs entirely in your browser. Text you type is not transmitted to us; it leaves your device only if you choose to send it by email.
Browser storage. Checklist ticks are saved in your browser's local storage so they persist between visits. This data stays on your device. A consent notice may also record your cookie choice locally. See our Cookie Policy.
Server logs. Our hosting provider may automatically record technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and reliability. These logs are kept for a limited period, normally no more than 30 days.
Legal bases
We process correspondence on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, and server logs on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure. Where consent is required for non-essential storage, we rely on your consent.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who host the site or our email, under appropriate agreements, or where required by law.
Retention
We keep correspondence for up to 24 months after the last exchange, unless a longer period is required by law.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict processing, and request data portability. Contact us at the address above. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Children
This site is intended for adults and students aged 16 and over and is not directed at children.
